IP whitelist authentication authorizes requests from a known public client IP without embedding a proxy password in each client.

Steps

1. Find the public outbound IP of the server or device that will connect to the proxy.
2. Add that IP in the dashboard whitelist.
3. Wait for the dashboard to confirm the change.
4. Connect using the endpoint and port shown for the product.
5. Update the whitelist whenever the client public IP changes.

Checks and notes

• Private addresses such as 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x are not public outbound IPs.

For account-specific values, use the endpoint, port, credentials, and location shown in your MaskProxy dashboard. Do not publish proxy credentials in screenshots, tickets, or public code repositories.
