Using a Residential Proxy on my iPhone

iPhone can fill in the HTTP proxy parameters in the proxy settings of the Wi-Fi network; if using a third-party application, fill it in according to the proxy protocol supported by the application.

Wi-Fi HTTP proxy settings

  • Open iPhone settings and enter Wi-Fi.
  • Click the information button to the right of the current Wi-Fi.
  • Find "Configure proxy" and select manual.
  • Fill in the server and port.
  • If authentication is required, fill in the username and password.
  • After saving, visit the IP query website to test.

iOS system settings have limited support for the SOCKS5 protocol. If you must use SOCKS5, please use a third-party client that supports this protocol.
