System Requirements and Compatibility

The MaskProxy service is compatible with most operating systems, browser plug-ins, command line tools, and automated programs. As long as the client supports HTTP or SOCKS5 protocol connections and supports username and password authentication, it can usually be configured and used.

Supported systems

  • Windows: Can be used through system proxy, browser plug-in, cURL or program configuration.
  • macOS: Available through system network settings, browser plug-in, or terminal tools.
  • Linux: Good for server scripts, crawlers, API requests, and automation tasks.
  • iOS/Android: Available via system Wi-Fi proxy or proxy-enabled apps.

The client requires

  • to be able to fill in the host and port.
  • Ability to fill in username and password.
  • Ability to select HTTP or SOCKS5 protocols.
  • Ability to view or test the current egress IP.

Network environment

If your network cannot directly access the console or overseas proxy nodes, you need to prepare a network environment that can access the backend and proxy services. When the connection fails, please use cURL or a browser plug-in to do a small traffic test first.
