The "Traffic Usage" area is provided at the bottom of the rotating residential proxy page. Here you can view recent traffic changes to help you determine whether task consumption is normal.

What behaviors will consume traffic

• Web page requests, interface requests, pictures, scripts, style files and downloaded content.
• Retry requests in automated tasks.
• Third-party resources loaded when the browser opens the page.
• Concurrent tasks simultaneously access the upload and download data generated by the target site.

How to reduce traffic consumption

• Turn off unnecessary loading of pictures, videos, fonts and large files during collection tasks.
• Set reasonable timeouts and retries to avoid repeated retries of failed requests.
• Test in small batches first, then expand concurrency.
• Extract only the required region and session policies to avoid invalid requests.

How to troubleshoot abnormal traffic

1. Check whether there are scripts, browsers or servers still running in the background.
2. Check the task log to confirm whether there are a large number of retries, jumps, or downloads.
3. Confirm whether multiple people or projects share the same set of proxy credentials.
4. Reset credentials if necessary and reassign them to trusted projects.
5. If the statistics are very different from the business logs, prepare the time range, task description and screenshots to contact support.
