When do I need to copy credentials?

• Configure the proxy to a browser, fingerprint browser, script or third-party tool for the first time.
• Replace computers, servers or new business systems.
• Troubleshoot the authentication failure and confirm whether the user name and password filled in the current tool are correct.

How to copy username and password

1. Log in to the MaskProxy dashboard.
2. Enter "rotating residential proxy" in "My proxy".
3. Click "Copy Username" on the right side at the top of the page.
4. Paste in the Username field of the target tool.
5. Click "Copy Password".
6. Paste in the password field of the target tool.
7. The host and port can be copied in the "Extract IP" quick copy area.

When do I need to reset my credentials?

• The proxy credentials are suspected to be leaked.
• Access to the proxy is no longer required by team members or external services.
• There are too many credentials saved in the history tool and I want to replace them all.
• Authentication failed and it is confirmed that it is not a replication error, protocol error or insufficient traffic.

How to reset credentials

1. Enter the “rotating residential proxy” page.
2. Click "Reset Credentials".
3. Follow the page prompts to confirm the operation.
4. Copy the username and password again after resetting.
5. Synchronously update new credentials to browsers, scripts, fingerprint browsers, and all third-party tools.

Important Reminder

• After reset, the old username or password may no longer be usable.
• If multiple projects share the same set of credentials, confirm the scope of impact before resetting.
• After updating the credentials, it is recommended to do a connection test immediately.
• Please do not send the complete proxy string, username, password or API link to public group chats, public work order screenshots or code repositories.
