MaskProxy currently supports HTTP and SOCKS5 protocols. Most tools also require a username and password for proxy authentication.

How to choose the protocol

• HTTP: suitable for browser extensions, interface requests, and common automation tools.
• SOCKS5 protocol: suitable for proxy managers, scripts or clients that explicitly support this protocol.
• When in doubt, first use HTTP to complete the connection test.

Authentication method

The username and password displayed in the background are used for proxy connection authentication. Third-party tools usually provide username and password input boxes, and may also require you to paste the complete proxy string.

Common errors

• Wrong protocol selection.
• The username or password copy is incomplete.
• The tool does not support account and password authentication.
• Fill in the proxy account password with the background login account password.

Do not expose the complete proxy string, password or API link in public screenshots, public work orders, group chats or code repositories.
