This tutorial is suitable for users who are using the MaskProxy API or extraction link for the first time. You will learn where to generate the API URL, how to obtain the proxy parameters through the interface, and how to use minimal testing to confirm that the proxy has taken effect.

Before starting

• Confirm that the account has available packages.
• rotating residential proxy - GB, rotating datacenter proxy - GB require remaining traffic.
• static residential proxy - IP, static datacenter proxy - IP need to have valid IP.
• Prepare a terminal or script environment that can initiate HTTP requests.

Step 1: Select product

Enter the corresponding product page in the console, such as "My proxy > rotating residential proxy" or "My proxy > static residential proxy". Select the country/region, protocol, format, and output method according to the prompts on the page.

Step 2: Generate API URL

Click "Generate API Link". The API URL may contain account-related parameters. Please save it like a password and do not put it in a public warehouse, front-end page or public document.

Step 3: Request interface

HTTP and SOCKS5 are protocol options, not separate product types. When the interface returns empty, first check whether the product has available traffic or available IP.
