How to Choose Rotating Datacenter Parameters

This article explains how to select parameters in the rotating datacenter proxy - GB extraction page. Wrong parameter selection can easily lead to connection failure, regional inconsistency, or session instability.

Regional parameters

  • Continent: used to quickly limit a large range.
  • Country/Region: Used to match the export region required by the target business.
  • Cities and Regions: Continue subdivision only if background is optional.
  • The default or global mixcast options can be used when not explicitly required.

Protocol

  • HTTP: Good for browser extensions, interface requests, and most automation tools.
  • SOCKS5 protocol: suitable for proxy managers, scripts or clients that explicitly support this protocol.
  • When in doubt, test with HTTP first.

Gateway

It is generally recommended to use the domain name gateway displayed in the background. The domain name format is more suitable for long-term configuration and facilitates subsequent line adjustments.

Format and output format

  • One line proxy: username:password@host:port.
  • Fill in the columns: host, port, username, and password into the tool respectively.
  • Output format: TEXT is usually selected for normal copying.

Timeliness

  • Different IP for each request: suitable for short requests and batch detection.
  • Longer duration: suitable for login, form submission, or tasks that require maintaining a session.
  • If login is frequently lost or verification is triggered, try a more stable timeliness.
