After configuring static residential proxy - IP, it is recommended to do a connection test first to confirm that the fixed exit IP is available.

Pre-test inspection

• IP status is normal.
• IP has not expired.
• The host, port, user name, and password are complete.
• The protocol selection is consistent with the tool.

1. Copy the complete proxy.
2. Replace username, password, host, and port in the command.
3. Execute the command and check the returned IP.
4. Confirm that the returned IP is consistent or generally matches the static IP information.

Browser test

1. Add new configuration in proxy extension.
2. Fill in the host, port, username and password.
3. Select HTTP or SOCKS5 protocol.
4. Open the IP query page.
5. Confirm that the exit IP is fixed and the target website can be accessed.

Test pass standard

• No certification failure.
• No connection timeout.
• The exit IP is stable.
• Region and operator information are generally consistent with business expectations.
